The Execution of Orpheus at Ephesus - Film collaboration

The Execution of Orpheus at Ephesus was a retelling of the Orpheus myth taken from the Orpheus poem cycle from The Trees of Ephesus section of More Micks than Dicks published in 2017. It is my most commercially successful book, selling over 1000 copies. Yet is currently out of print. Publishers here are to scared to publish it. Some copies can be found on Amazon retailing for around 80 Euro!

The film on the link below was commissioned by Ross Breslin, editor of The Scum Gentry. Ciaran Leahy is responsible for the graphics, though I must admit to giving him the majority of the ideas. Ciran was really wonderful to work with, I just had to say what I wanted to happen and he made it happen. The music then is by the amazing Michael Levy, the name of the piece is Orpheus's Lyre: Lament in the Just Intonation of Antiquity.

Enjoy!
